The Underwriting Agencies Council (UAC) is set to host its Sydney Underwriting Expo on March 08, but before the big event, a breakfast will be held featuring Lloyd’s Andrew Gurney as guest speaker.
Gurney, Lloyd’s head of international regulatory affairs, is responsible for the insurance market’s international trading rights in more than 75 jurisdictions, and leads Lloyd’s international and regulatory relationships. He also develops and implements Lloyd’s global regulatory affairs strategy in support of Lloyd’s strategic priorities.
The Lloyd’s specialist will present Lloyd’s perspective on the Australian and Asia-Pacific markets.
“This is UAC’s 20th annual Sydney Underwriting Expo and every year it grows bigger,” said William Legge, UAC general manager. “It’s a key opportunity in the insurance industry calendar for UAC members to liaise face to face with brokers and explain in depth the products and services they offer.”
The UAC Sydney Underwriting Expo has already attracted more than 90 exhibitors who will showcase their products and services to brokers.
Brokers can attend the expo at no charge. Interested participants are urged to pre-register on the UAC website and download UAC Events app to enable them to communicate directly with exhibitors and get CPD points.
