Dual Australia has announced a
new senior hire for one of their key businesses.
Karen Ware will join the company’s Sydney office next week as national senior underwriter in the accident and health business.
Ware was formally New South Wales accident and health manager at ACE, where she worked for 15 years before stepping down in April.

Leo Abbruzzo said that the appointment of Ware could prove a driving force for the growth of the business across the country.
"We're extremely excited about attracting someone of Karen’s calibre to assist National Accident and Health Manager, Melanie Barrett, and the team, in driving the growth in our Accident and Health business to the next level," Abbruzzo said.
The company also recently announced a host of changes for their business in Western Australia.
Michael Ussher has been promoted to national business unit manager, following the departure of Elias Karim, and will remain regional manager for WA whilst Angela O’Reilly has joined the team as national senior underwriter for accident and health in the state.
Rob Mills joined Dual at the beginning of August as an assistant manager for WA to support Ussher with the growing state presence while Cindy Lau has become a senior underwriter – financial lines and will be based in Sydney.
