Dual Asia Pacific has announced the appointment of a new non-executive chairman.
Terry Paradine will take up the post effective immediately, it has been revealed.
Paradine has over 40 years’ experience in the industry and
stepped down as chairman of Zurich earlier this year.
As a former chairman and CEO of
Marsh, Paradine hopes that his experience will be able to shepherd the future growth of the company.
“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to work with a high growth entrepreneurial business like DUAL Asia Pacific and drawing on my experience I hope to guide them into their next stage of development as a business.”
Damien Coates, CEO of DUAL Asia Pacific believes that the appointment of Paradine will be a great benefit to the business across the Asia Pacific region.
“Our Asia Pacific businesses are now complex and diverse businesses and a person with Terry’s depth of knowledge will be welcomed at DUAL,” Coates said.
“Terry’s vast range of experience is unparalleled in the industry, and I am very much looking forward to his guidance as we look to consider new opportunities throughout the region in both merger and acquisitions as well as product expansion.”
CEO of DUAL International, Shane Doyle, also backed Paradine to help lead the company to greater success throughout the region and sees the move as the next step for the company future.
“DUAL Asia Pacific continues to be a key growth engine for the Group and the investment in someone of Terry’s experience to strengthen our governance is the next logical step in our commitment to the region.”
