Leading international law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has announced the appointment of a new senior partner for its Australian insurance business.
Brett Solomon has joined the firm in the Brisbane office following his most recent position as head of the national insurance group at DibbsBarker.
Solomon has been in the industry for more than two decades and brings his vast experience across multiple sectors to the international firm.
Managing partner of Norton Rose Fulbright in Australia, Wayne Spanner, said that Solomon’s appointment would further bolster a growing national insurance team and add another high quality partner to the Brisbane office.

Solomon, who has experience with both domestic and London-based insurers, believes his international experience will aid the firm moving forward.
“After spending two decades advising the best of the insurance industry in Australia, as well as having considerable experience working with London-based underwriters, I felt the time was right to join Norton Rose Fulbright and be a part of its highly successful insurance team,” Solomon said.
