Chubb has announced a reshuffle for a key strand of its Australian business.
Liam Burrell will move to Singapore to become division head of property and casualty for Singapore and will report to country president, Greg Dodds.
Burrell joins the Singapore business from Chubb Australia where he was previously state manager – South Australia/Northern Territory, overseeing the P&C and A&H operations for that region of the Chubb business.
Following a year’s maternity leave, Monica Holland has returned to Chubb and will replace Burrell taking on the role of independent broker unit and global broker unit manager for South Australia and Northern Territory.
Dodds said that Burrell is well suited to his new role which will see him spearhead business development, general management and overall growth for the P&C division for Chubb Singapore.
“As an accomplished leader with a proven track record, we are very pleased to have Liam join us in Chubb Singapore,” Dodds said.
With Liam's depth of industry experience, he is well equipped to lead our P&C operations as we enter an exciting period of expansion across all areas of our business in this Division.
“Under Liam's leadership, I am confident that our P&C Division is poised to scale to new heights of profitable growth.”
Burrell has more than 15 years of industry experience having worked in financial lines underwriting and portfolio management before he took on a management position.
