Kaplan Professional, a leading financial services training and education firm, has announced the launch of a host of online insurance training courses.
The company announced seven courses in all which include Certificate IV in general insurance (claims, sales and generalist stream) and Tier 1 in Insurance Broking, similar qualifications are also available for life insurance.
The “flexible, online” courses are designed for those already in the industry or for those looking for a career in insurance as Kaplan Professional CEO, Brian Knight, said that the courses will help cater for an ever-growing industry.
“With predictions the Australian insurance industry will more than double in the next 15 years, there’s an enormous opportunity for individuals who are prepared to invest in their education.” Knight said.
“The industry is hands-on and client-focused, so we’ve developed content in conjunction with senior insurance professionals to deliver courses from an industry perspective with practical and relevant learning outcomes.”
Knight noted that the courses are designed to be completed around working hours and it is their flexibility which will offer industry professionals a chance to further their knowledge.
“With online access, practical content and flexible completion deadlines, the courses are well suited to working professionals who want to gain an industry-relevant qualification and develop their career,” Knight said.
Each of the courses launched by Kaplan has a 12-week completion timeframe and courses can be enrolled in at any time.
