Australian firm Lander & Rogers has welcomed two seasoned insurance law practitioners to its Brisbane and Melbourne offices, as it seeks to build a full-coverage national insurance practice on the eastern seaboard.
Joining the firm’s Brisbane office as partner is Cameron MacLeod, current vice-president of the Australian Professional Indemnity Group; and bolstering its Melbourne practice as special counsel is Natasha Stojanovich, listed in legal industry publications, including Doyle’s Guide.
“At a time when the insurance industry is under seemingly unending pressure, both appointments are a continued sign of our commitment and investment in the Australian insurance market,” said Ari Abrahams, Lander & Rogers’ co-practice group leader for insurance law & litigation. “We are actively selecting the parts of the market that we want to grow in, and Cameron and Natasha’s appointments will help us to realise this strategy. Our commitment to our clients is to be in the right parts of the market, and in the right locations.”
MacLeod specialises in professional indemnity claims work, and brings more than 20 years of litigation experience to the firm’s national practice group, having worked for 14 years at DLA Piper and another five years at Bartley Cohen Litigation Lawyers as partner. Stojanovich joins Lander’s professional indemnity construction team, after 10 years at DLA Piper.
