In spite of lockdown, global insurance law giant Kennedys has managed to complete its switch to larger premises in Melbourne.
The firm, which first opened an office in the city back in August 2017 having been based in Sydney since 2006, has seen its staff numbers triple in size to more than 30 staff, while revenue shot up 35% over the last financial year.
It’s that success which has seen it set up larger premises in Melbourne Central Tower.
“The new office reflects our confidence in our underlying business and client relationships,” said Matt Andrews, Kennedys’ Australian managing partner.
‘We thank our clients for their continued support, and reaffirm our commitment to supporting them in these extraordinary times. We look forward to welcoming guests to our offices in the not too distant future.”
The firm’s investment in talent has seen founding Melbourne partner Michael Kavanagh and his team joined by a large healthcare line-up fronted by partners John Petts and Cindy Tucker, as well as a specialist employment practice led by Chris Molnar.
“We’ve been candid about our ambitions to grow in Melbourne,” added Andrews, “and we are very pleased with our achievements in the first two years.”
