Davaine is responsible for business efficiency improvements and developing new client and underwriter relationships but noted that brokerages like JMD Ross need to remain focused on their founding principles.
“It is imperative we never stray from what has brought us to this point – always delivering great service and expert advice to our clients,” he said.
JMD Ross CEO, John G Duncan, welcomed Davaine to his new director role and noted that he will play a key role in the future of the organisation.
“His addition to the team last year was part of the company’s long-term succession planning,” Duncan said.
