An insurance broker and risk adviser with more than 30 years of specialist insight and the largest dedicated sports risk team in Australia has forged a three-year partnership with NRL Touch Football Australia (TFA).
As TFA's official risk partner, Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) will provide TFA's national program, covering up to 500,000 touch football players, with broking services and comprehensive insurance cover, including workers' compensation.
JLT CEO Nick Harris said the company looks forward to working with TFA's clubs and members around the country “to create a consistent, tailored risk solution nationally whilst giving back to the sporting community.”
“As a long-standing risk partner of Cricket Australia and the AFL, and now NRL Touch Football Australia, JLT strives to create safer sporting communities nationally,” Harris said.
“Touch Football Australia is committed to providing the safest sporting environment possible for our participants, and JLT provides comprehensive insurance cover to assist with that,” said Steve Mitchell, CEO at NRL Touch Football Australia.
