Insurance Business recognises insurance companies in Australia and New Zealand with 5-Star DE&I programs, a group of forward-thinking organisations creating inclusive environments where employees can reach their full potential.
Focusing on specific objectives tied to its colleagues, customers, and culture, 2024 awardee Arch Insurance Australia prioritises listening to employees and addressing what matters most to them.
“Employees seek different approaches for their circumstances,” explained Oriana Korban, senior HR business partner. “There is no one blanket approach that suits everyone.”
Another standout this year is Aon Australia. For over a decade, the company has fostered an environment where diversity is visible, valued, and sustained.
“We’ve embedded diversity and inclusion throughout our firm, so inclusion is in everything we do; it’s the way we work and it’s the way we interact with each other,” said Deb Gibson, client director and chair of the Inclusive Business Resource Group.
