JLT Re has announced a pair of key appointments for its program and facility capabilities in the Asia Pacific region.
The international player has announced that Jon Claverley has been appointed as director and Paul Steiner has been hired as an associate director.
Both join from Cooper Gay, where Claverley was managing director for Australia and Steiner was a senior wholesale broker.
Stuart Beatty, CEO of JLT Re Asia Pacific, said that the additions help compliment the business operations in Australia and throughout Asia.
“Jon and Paul will be focussed on developing our program and facility strategy via their strong market relationship with independent brokers and MGA’s,” Beatty said.
“This compliments our developing business model in Australia and Asia very well.”
Beatty praised the experience of the pair and stressed that the business will look to continue its growth over the coming year.
“Jon and Paul both bring excellent experience and expertise to JLT Re as well as an ability to connect with clients at all levels through innovative solutions. As we continue to expand in the region these are great additions to the team”.
Claverley has previous experience working for JLT in both Australia and London whilst Setiner was previously part of
QBE.
