Marsh has announced a major new appointment for their Australian business as an ex-Willis Managing director is set to join the company.
Lachlan Harcourt, former managing director of Willis Risk Solutions, will join Marsh
as national client development leader at the conclusion of his notice period, Marsh announced in a brief statement.
Harcourt will join the Melbourne office of the business following more than five years in his current role at the rival international broker.
In his new role, Harcourt will report to executive director of Marsh,
George Tarabaras, the company said.
“Together with Ron Tomsic, who joins Marsh in August as the company’s Sydney-based national client development leader, Lachlan will share national responsibilities for business development, client retention and client development,” Marsh said in a statement.
Harcourt had been with Willis since joining the company after they acquired Bradstock G.I.S in 2000 as he joined the international firm as a national practice leader for insolvency and financial risks team.
