An Australian life insurance start-up has welcomed one new board member and two senior hires.
Joining Integrity Life are former Munich Re boss Heinrich Eder as independent non-executive director, ex-Clearview Wealth operations head Mark McCrea as operations manager, and previous ANZ leader Jacqueline Little as head of product.
Chairman Eric Dodd said Eder’s extensive leadership and sector experience ideally complements the expertise of the company’s board members and “will be of great value to Integrity as it progresses from new entrant to established market player.”
Eder was with Munich Re Group for 36 years, the last decade of which he spent as managing director for Australasia. He also held various directorships and adviser roles in the insurance and reinsurance companies and served as a director of the Insurance Council of Australia and ANZIIF.
McCrea has 25 years of financial-services experience, including as head of operations at Clearview Wealth. Little, previous national manager for product policy at ANZ, brings extensive expertise in product development and strategy to Integrity.
Integrity already offers group insurance and is set to pilot its retail products with a group of 50 specialist insurance advisers in mid-October.
