Ansvar is set to host a series of broker education forums across the country throughout November.
Entitled ‘The Role of the Not-For-Profit Board,’ the forums are designed to provide brokers with comprehensive and up-to-date information to help their clients who have board-member responsibilities in not-for-profit organisations.
Australia has an estimated 600,000 entities in the not-for-profit space and with increased governance in place across the sector, it is an important time develop knowledge.

Warren Hutcheon, will be joined by Jacques Jacobs, partner from DLA Piper, for the forums in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide while managing partner of HBM Lawyers, Lynton Mortensen will be present in Sydney and Brisbane.
“The obligations of directors in the not-for-profit sector is very topical and a high priority. It is critical that directors remain informed of their legal obligations” said Hutcheon.
“The Broker Education Forums have proven to be a great outlet for our broker partners to discuss topical issues with leading industry experts in various fields enabling them to receive qualified insight in areas they may not generally be exposed to,” he continued.
