Suncorp has added to its board of directors with the appointment of Christine McLoughlin as a non-executive director.
McLoughlin has held senior roles with
IAG, AMP and Optus in the past and has worked in Australia, the United Kingdom and in South-East Asia across the financial services, health, mining, and infrastructure and not-for-profit sectors.
Suncorp chairman Dr Ziggy Switowski welcomed the appointment and believes that McLoughlin’s 25 years of business experience in Australia and overseas will be a great addition to the business.
“Christine has deep experience in strategy, communications, government and regulatory affairs, human resources and commercial law. With this background, Christine will provide a very important contribution to the Suncorp board and help ensure Suncorp’s continued success in the future.”
McLoughlin served as general manager, office of the CEO, for AMP for seven years before moving to IAG in 2005 as group executive strategy – human resources and communications before leaving in 2008.
