TLlawyers are to join Hunt & Hunt Lawyers as the national law firm looks to strengthen its ties to the insurance industry.
Based in Newcastle, TL offer technical expertise and client reach that compliments Hunt & Hunt’s strong presence in the CTP and liability insurance industry according to a statement released by the law firm.
General manager of Hunt & Hunt, Steve Sampson, believes the partnership will provide dividends for the industry and will help assist clients nationally.
"Consolidation of our firms ensures that we continue to provide the benefit of long-term experience and insights to help our clients resolve disputes in the most economic and beneficial manner nationally.”
"TLlawyers offers expert service delivery with a strong understanding of industry issues, adding an extra dimension to our already strong national offering.”
TL partners Peter Harvey and Frances Allen will immediately join the Hunt & Hunt partnership team and their 20 years’ experience will provide a great boost to Hunt & Hunt’s insurance division.
"The union provides excellent national link-ups and benefits by offering clients additional points of access to leading capabilities and unique insights nationwide," Harvey said of the partnership.
TL's move follows the recent decision of Nicholsons Solicitors, who offer a solid footing in property, strata and commercial law practice, to join the firm's national network.
Hunt & Hunt will look to develop their offering further with a collaborative approach to minimise risk and deal with claims as quickly and efficiently as possible.
"The TLlawyers addition not only builds upon our strength in the insurance sector but also adds a platform for the firm to expand and mirror its other national strengths in employment, property and commercial law," Sampson continued.
"One of our strengths is in our collective ability to meet national client needs in the manner and in the location our clients want to be serviced. Combined with the thinking power of highly skilled legal operators, our focus on service will continue throughout 2015."
The firm recently promoted professional indemnity insurance law expert Hubert Wajszel to partner and continues to focus on strengthening its insurance service offerings.
