Seven corporate counsels from Australia’s major insurers have been acknowledged on Legal 500’s The GC Powerlist.
The list recognises in-house lawyers who have helped shape innovation in the legal industry.
Selection is based on an in-depth process, which involved speaking with law-firm partners and in-house lawyers. A team of experienced researchers assessed nominations.
Making it to The GC Powerlist were Chris Bertuch, IAG’s group general counsel and company secretary, Anna Lenahan, Suncorp Group’s group general counsel and company secretary, Cathy Manolios, Zurich Financial Services Australia’s general counsel and head of corporate governance, Stephen Tudjman, MLC and NAB Wealth’s general counsel, and Michael Tropea, AIA Australia’s general counsel and company secretary.
Also joining the ranks of today’s most influential in-house lawyers were QBE Insurance’s Carolyn Scobie, group general counsel and company secretary, and Pita Williams, general counsel.
