Hollard Insurance Company (Hollard) has announced Jack Joubert as the CEO of the commercial arm of its insurance business, Hollard Commercial Insurance (HCi).
Joubert has been acting in the role following the announcement of the departure of Richard Heilig in June this year and has over a decade’s worth of experience in insurance. Most recently, Joubert served as the CFO for HCi and prior to that he acted as head of capital for Hollard. He has also served in a “number of other leadership roles” within the Hollard Group both in Australia and internationally.
“[Joubert] is taking up the reins of our commercial business leadership at an exciting and challenging time for all of us. He brings a fresh approach to the business, along with a great passion for the industry. I look forward to working with him to grow and build the commercial arm of our business into a market leader in small business insurance,” said Richard Enthoven, Hollard CEO.
Reflecting on his new appointment, Joubert said: “I am delighted to have been confirmed as the new HCi CEO. We have seen rapid growth in our business to become a leading SME insurer.
“My focus going forward will be to continue that growth and focus on our core products and low touch electronic platforms. I am looking forward to serving the HCi staff and working with the HCi leadership team and extended HCi family, to ensure we continue to build the business together with all of our partners.”
Joubert is a qualified Actuary with a bachelor’s degree in both Economics and Actuarial Science.
