ATC Insurance Solutions has appointed insurance senior executive Angie Zissis to NSW state manager and will spearhead the growth of the underwriting agency in the Sydney market.
Zissis’ appointment coincides with the opening today of ATC’s Sydney office.
Prior to joining ATC, Zissis was finance director at
Marsh Australia and he has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. He has previously held a range of leadership roles including national general Manager of Freeman McMurrick, chief operating officer at
Aon Australia, and financial controller at Alexander & Alexander.
ATC CEO Chris Anderson, said: “We are delighted Angie has joined the ATC leadership team. To have attracted a senior executive with his expertise and experience is a strong endorsement of our recent business performance and our plans for growth in the next few years.”
Anderson said Zissis’ business development experience would support the implementation of new product portfolios and add further depth to ATC’s management expertise. “Angie will also be responsible for driving the growth of ATC’s existing and emerging product lines in the NSW market and our expansion into South East Asia,” he said.
Zissis said he was drawn to ATC by the opportunity to join an innovative underwriting agency with a reputation for responsiveness to the needs of its broking partners: “In the past few years, ATC has rapidly built an enviable reputation for its underwriting capability in construction, plant and machinery and accident and health,” he said.
