Insurance has long been seen as a male-dominated industry – but if the incredible names that made the Elite Women 2021 list are anything to go by, then that perception may be about to change.
Back in February this year, Insurance Business reached out to invite insurance professionals across the country to nominate a deserving female leader for the annual Elite Women list. Each nominee had to be working in a role that related to, interacted with, or in some way impacted the insurance industry, with nominators asked to describe their standout achievements over the previous 12 months.
All nominations were then reviewed and the list was narrowed down to 42 Elite Women, from major insurers, brokerages, insurance law firms, underwriting agencies and more.
