Insurance Business Australia (IB) has published its 2024 Brokers on Underwriting Agencies report, highlighting the agencies brokers identified as excelling in service, responsiveness, and engagement with feedback.
The report recognises agencies that, according to brokers, have demonstrated a commitment to supporting insureds before and after claims events, have integrated advanced technology to enhance data usage, and maintained sufficient capacity to meet market demands.
To compile the rankings, IB invited brokers to participate in a survey distributed via social media and its online newsletter.
Brokers were asked to name their top three underwriting agencies across 17 categories of insurance, as well as to share their opinions on product quality, service turnaround times, and pricing trends compared to the previous year.

Using the survey data, IB identified the top three agencies in each category and awarded gold, silver, and bronze distinctions.
Agencies offering the most highly rated products were also recognised with Brokers’ Pick medals.
