Insurance and local-government representatives will have the opportunity to hear about the insurance experiences and insights of North Queenslanders in a series of public meetings hosted by Australia’s peak insurance body.
The Insurance Council of Australia (ICA) will hold 11 insurance forums in November for communities between Cairns and Bundaberg, to tackle many aspects of insuring homes, property, and small businesses, including natural-hazard exposure, insurance affordability, mitigation, and underinsurance.
Participants will also learn about the Queensland government’s Strata Title Inspection Scheme and the Household Resilience Program.
