General insurance giant IAG is getting even bigger.
“Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be welcoming 400 new people to the IAG team,” said the insurer in a LinkedIn update. “Our new colleagues will join us to help support our customers who’ve made claims, including those who are recovering from the recent bushfires and hailstorms.”
According to the company, the additional roster includes 100 people seconded from RACV resorts, clubs, and retail stores after their roles were hit by the coronavirus crisis.
IAG has started bringing new colleagues in, posting their respective photos on the professional network with a “welcome” caption.
“All our new starters have participated in virtual training and are set up to work from home as part of our focus on helping customers when they need it most,” noted the firm.
