Insurance Australia Group (IAG) is inviting applications for its 2025 Graduate Program.
Targeted at fresh university graduates and those nearing the completion of their academic journey, this initiative kicks off in February 2025, spanning 18 months. It aims to furnish entrants with an immersive experience across a spectrum of operational areas within IAG.
The program delineates eight varied career tracks, encompassing roles in actuarial science, finance, technology, risk management, and customer engagement, among others. This structure is tailored to attract candidates driven by the ambition to contribute towards creating a safer societal framework.
The induction process for new entrants encompasses comprehensive workshops and networking sessions with the company's leadership and fellow cohort members, facilitating a robust foundation for their careers.
IAG places a strong emphasis on self-driven career development, supported by an array of learning and development resources, including access to the insurance giant's Learning Academy, Udemy courses, and LinkedIn Learning.
Mary Carrillo, technology and operations graduate, commented: “I'm gaining technical skills like learning Python, JavaScript, SQL, DBT, GitHub, and Google Cloud infrastructures. I'm also gaining non-technical skills like managing workflows and arranging meetings with stakeholders.”
IAG's Graduate Program selection encompasses a comprehensive evaluation process, including document submissions, assessments, and interactive sessions designed to gauge candidate compatibility and potential.
Applications for the 2025 cohort are open until March 27, 2024, with further details available on IAG's official platform.
