Oracle Group Australia (Oracle) has stood out among insurance brokerages in Australia despite facing a mountain of challenges since the COVID-19 pandemic began – earning an Insurance Business Australia's (IB) Fast Brokerage award for 2022, given to brokerages that achieved over 30% growth in gross written premium, revenue, and headcount over the past two years.
Oracle group managing director Matthew Denehy – recognised as a dynamic business owner, leader and visionary – shared with IB how the group continued to thrive despite a difficult insurance market.
Oracle is home to over 60 authorised representatives (ARs) across Australia who are leading experts in protecting businesses from potential risks and liabilities. From the beginning, the group has focused on creating a genuine national broker network with individual state-based support and representation, national strength, and local presence to support their clients and ARs at ground level – creating a thriving environment despite the pandemic and other challenges.
“We have an AR network run by brokers,” Denehy (pictured) told IB. “Our directors are all active brokers themselves, which is why they have created such a successful environment for ARs.”
