Corporate, commercial, and insurance law firm Holman Webb Lawyers (Holman Webb) has appointed three partners and promoted eight lawyers, effective 1 July.
The appointment spree is part of the law firm's plan to expand its capability in several divisions as it targets growth, Holman Webb said in a press release.
Kozary, who joined Holman Webb's commercial recovery and insolvency team in Sydney, specialises in formal insolvency appointments, corporate restructurings, complex commercial litigation, and insolvency risk advice.
Kozary's practice has focused on assisting liquidators, voluntary administrators, receivers, secured creditors, and corporate clients. She has acted before the Supreme and Federal Courts in New South Wales (NSW) and Victoria (VIC).
Conomos – who joined Holman Webb's business, corporate, and commercial team in Sydney – expertise includes property, construction, and corporate finance, focusing on aged care, retirement villages, aviation, pubs, clubs, pharmacy, health, professional services, and transport and logistics sectors. He has worked with new non-bank lenders entering the market and designed a co-lending and white-labelling structure.
Chetty, who returned to Holman Webb as a partner, will lead the insurance team in Melbourne.
Before returning to Holman Webb, Chetty practiced as a corporate lawyer in England, where she obtained her Master of Laws. She has recently focused on property, energy, and infrastructure matters, but her experience spans other areas including personal injury, medical negligence, Coroner's Inquests, professional indemnity, product liability, and employment disputes.
