Things have become official for Cara Cronje, who is now the chief financial officer at Hollard Commercial Insurance (HCi) after serving in an interim capacity from July.
The company stalwart succeeds ex-CFO Jack Joubert, who stepped up following the exit of former chief executive Richard Heilig. Just like Cronje, Joubert also started out in an acting capacity before being confirmed as CEO earlier this week.

The new finance chief came onboard the Hollard Insurance Company Australia as a financial accountant in 2015, and went on to become a senior financial accountant prior to her 2018 move to HCi where she was financial planning and analysis manager.
“Congratulations, Cara Cronje, on the confirmation of your appointment as chief financial officer, HCi,” said the company in a brief LinkedIn post on Friday.
