Cara Cronje, who joined the Hollard Insurance Company Australia in 2015, is now the interim chief financial officer at Hollard Commercial Insurance (HCi).
The PwC alumnus is moving up from her most recent role as HCi’s financial planning and analysis manager. Cronje takes over the CFO function from Jack Joubert, who a few weeks ago was elevated to the position of interim chief executive.
In a brief LinkedIn update on Monday (July 20), HCi congratulated Cronje on her appointment. The company stalwart came onboard Hollard half a decade ago, serving as a financial accountant and later senior financial accountant before moving to the HCi operations in July 2018.
The leadership succession at the commercial insurance brand comes following the exit of former boss Richard Heilig, who made the switch to Blue Zebra Insurance backer Envest after about 22 years with the group.
