Prior to his role at Hiscox Re & ILS, Fox served as principal of insurance-linked securities for the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. In that role, Fox co-managed the plan’s ILS portfolio and was responsible for all analytics, including portfolio construction and optimisation capabilities. Fox holds a master’s degree in earth sciences and a PhD in seismology from the University of Oxford.
