Nearly 1,650 – that’s how many business, community, and government leaders have so far registered to take part in this year’s Vinnies CEO Sleepout, and Insurance Business has done the hard work of sifting through the participant list to find out who among them are from the insurance industry.
Based on our compilation, below are the insurance bosses who will be sleeping out on June 17 to support the St Vincent de Paul Society initiative.

As indicated above, the insurance roster is a good mix of first-timers and repeat participants. Of the latter, special mention goes to Gilbert who is participating in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout for the 10th time. In 2019, the Zenith Insurance Services director raised more than $18,000.
Meanwhile Kelly, managing director and chief executive at Steadfast, aims to raise at least $50,000 this time around. Last year, he raised more than $100,000 to help combat homelessness in Australia.
Overall, the 2021 event has a $7.98 million fundraising goal. Funds raised so far this year amount to over $3.1 million. In 2020, the Vinnies CEO Sleepout raised $5.7 million for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
