HDI Global Specialty SE – Australia has appointed Paula Ritchie as the new head of single risk for both Australia and New Zealand, effective from March 11.
This appointment aligns with the HDI’s plans for growth within the single risk sector across the two countries, the company said.
With an extensive background that spans over two and a half decades in the insurance industry, Ritchie joins HDI from her previous role as underwriting manager, executive assurance at Arch Insurance Australia. Her career history also includes notable positions at CGU and Berkley Insurance.
Ritchie's primary responsibilities will involve spearheading the development and expansion of HDI's single risk business operations in Australia and New Zealand, following a period of notable success and growth for the company in these areas.
