Fleiser (pictured) has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry and has been with the Talanx group since 2009.
In his previous role as the general manager of Australian operations, Fleiser has successfully overseen the growth of the Australian operations, becoming a significant contributor to the speciality lines insurer's overall performance.
Commenting on his promotion, Fleiser said: “I am delighted to receive this promotion as a recognition of my own efforts, but importantly, also the efforts and contribution of my entire team over the years. The Australian branch continues to be well-positioned to provide products, services, and strong security to the specialty segments of the Australian market. In my new role, I plan to strive for even greater success [in] delivering on the company's strategic plans.”
Ralph Beutter, CEO of HDI Global Speciality SE, has welcomed the announcement, saying he is confident Fleiser will continue to lead the company's dedicated team in providing quality security to its clients in the region.
“Mark has been synonymous with our presence in the Australian market since the inception of our branch office in Sydney,” Beutter added.
Fleiser's promotion follows HDI Global SE's announcement of new team roles as part of its “underwriting transformation” activities.
