A global industrial lines insurer has recruited an experienced leader in the corporate insurance industry to its team.
Chris McDowell will join HDI Global as underwriting manager for accident and health (A&H), bringing with him more than 17 years of experience specialising in the A&H product class.
Prior to the appointment, McDowell was national underwriting manager at Accident & Health International (AHI) Underwriting. He started his career in HDI in 2004 and has since then held a number of underwriting roles.
“I am looking forward to enter the accident and health market in Australasia,” said Stefan Feldmann, HDI Global’s managing director. “With Chris, we have been able attract a well-recognised and highly experienced A&H underwriting manager. I am confident Chris has the skillset to launch and successfully lead this new product line for HDI Global.”
