The future of the insurance industry lies in great hands, as showcased in Insurance Business's Young Guns 2021 which celebrates insurance professionals aged 35 and younger demonstrating excellence in their field.
The list features 41 rising superstars in the insurance industry who were nominated by their colleagues, managers, and mentors for going above and beyond in every sense. It found that all Young Guns regularly volunteered to coach and nurture less experienced team members last year because they deemed it a necessary investment in the business's future and a pivotal step in their leadership development.
For example, Hall & Wilcox lawyer Ellie McGrory demonstrated her dedication to education and professional development by assisting her supervising partners by overseeing and settling work prepared by paralegals, law graduates, and junior lawyers in addition to her insurance practice.
“Ellie is currently mentoring two law graduates, assisting them in goal-setting, career development, and adjusting to life in the law after completing university studies. Ellie also mentors young lawyers before their first court appearances,” her nomination read.
