Insurance law firm Gilchrist Connell (GC) has appointed Yvonne Lam, a corporate insurance and insurtech specialist, as principal and head of corporate insurance and insurtech.
Lam (pictured) has experience in the Australian insurance and insurtech sectors, having worked on an advisory basis for domestic and international insurers, reinsurers, and insurance intermediaries.
Lam’s expertise extends to the establishment of operations, regulatory licensing and distribution, corporate governance and restructures, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory investigations.
Her other areas of interest include assisting clients with financial services licencing requirements and obligations, product development, distribution and agency agreements, compliance frameworks, and portfolio transfers.
