Gallagher Bassett has been named the official sponsor of the Mental Health for First Responders Conference, which will be held on March 6-7 at CQ Functions Melbourne.
Now in its third year, the event will provide attendees an update on the latest mental health research and practical strategies to proactively build resilience and foster a culture of support. It will also inform them how to improve their mental health and wellbeing strategy.
Speaking on behalf of GB on day one of the event is Shane Greentree, national psychology services director from Soldier On. She will present, “Shaping a veteran-specific service: Lessons from the frontline.”
Other notable speakers include James Maskey, national engagement manager at beyondblue, Andrew Crisp, commissioner at Emergency Management Victoria, Tony Walker, chief executive of Ambulance Victoria, and Alison Barnes, safety, health, and wellbeing Lead at New Zealand Fire and Emergency Services.
Also attending the event are Police, Ambulance, Fire and Rescue, State Emergency Service, Defence, and other agencies exposed to first response trauma.
