Gallagher Bassett will sponsor the biannual Health Benefits of Good Work (HBGW) forum that is themed, “Fostering Good Work in the Territory.”
The event will be held on June 21 at Adina Vibe Hotel, Darwin, bringing together multiple stakeholders for subject expert presentations, facilitated discussion, and workshops on how good work affects small business and rural and remote employment as well as on how to improve access to good work for workers across Australia.
John Deane, NT operations manager, will present, “Injury Management and Mental Health for First Responders: A NT Perspective,” alongside Julian Robinson, acting principle psychologist at the Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services. The presentation will focus on their joint approach to injury management and mental health prevention initiatives in the Northern Territory, a practical first responder and government perspective.
“Gallagher Bassett has been a long-time signatory of the Health Benefits of Good Work Consensus Statement,” Deane said. “HBGW is an important message that we have a responsibility to spread and I am proud to be able to continue to do that with Julian Robinson of NTPFES at the Darwin forum.”
