Two Gallagher Bassett staff members have been selected as finalists for the 2018 Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) Excellence in Personal Injury and Disability Management Awards.
GB’s return-to-work specialists from South Australia, Danielle Birchmore and Samantha Godrick, were announced as finalists in the categories of excellence in customer service and excellence in disability management (return-to-work/community), respectively.
Birchmore was nominated due to the high level of service she provides to many of her clients, while Godrick was recognized for the work she has done on a number of complex claims as well as the outcomes she managed to achieve for her clients, GB said.
"Both Danielle and Samantha are fantastic return-to-work specialists,” said Shaun Meehan, GB’s general manager of South Australia. “They both work hard to support the needs of their customers – both injured workers and employers. The work that Danni and Sam do every day has an impact on the lives of their customers, and I’m so proud to see their achievements formally recognised by PIEF."
Winners will be announced at the PIEF’s annual Injury and Disability Conference on Oct. 17.
The event will also feature GB’s CEO John McNamara, Darrin Wright, executive director of personal injury, and Ben Sheat, and general manager of self-insurance, as speakers.
