Gallagher Bassett’s Shaun Meehan has successfully completed the Pain Revolution Ride, a challenging seven-day cycle tour held in Tasmania to raise awareness and support medical research and treatment of persistent chronic pain.
Meehan, GB general manager for SA, personally raised $2,655, adding to the total $96,149 generated by the ride. This is Meehan’s third year of participation.
Seminars were also held at rural centres along the ride route to teach residents of the island state techniques for preventing and overcoming persistent pain.
“We met people everywhere along the journey who are either currently suffering with pain or thankful for the impact modern pain education and treatment techniques have had on them, driven by members of the Pain Revolution team,” Meehan said.
