Gallagher Bassett (GB) has welcomed a new recruit to its Victorian business, as part of a larger push to ensure customers are engaged in best-practice recovery methods in the workers’ compensation sphere.
Chelsea Konyk joins GB as mental-health consultant for Victoria, bringing more than a decade of experience in various areas of mental-health nursing, including acute assessment, recovery, and community-and-court programs, to the firm’s claims-management process.
In this new role, Konyk will focus on providing tailored and individualised support for injured workers.
“We feel confident that Chelsea will provide valuable insight and assistance in this role,” said Stephanie Connolly, GB Victoria claims operations manager. “With her background and experience, she can offer fresh and innovative approaches and practices to both our team and our clients.”
