Gallagher has appointed Tim Johns (pictured) as state sales manager for Tasmania, based in its Hobart office.
Prior to joining Gallagher, Johns held senior leadership roles at various international broking houses in his home state of Tasmania for 29 years. These include a stint at Aon, where he was regional director for Tasmania for over nine years.
According to a statement by the global brokerage, it is excited about the experience, knowledge, and sales leadership that Johns will bring to the organisation, and his contributions to the company’s continued strong growth.
“We are constantly on the lookout for great talent to join our team and we were thrilled to be able to bring someone of Tim’s calibre to Gallagher,” said Mark Saunderson, Gallagher’s area director.
“After the acquisition of Dion and his team from Scope just over 12 months ago, we see Tim’s appointment as another important step forward for our business in Tasmania in being able to deliver great outcomes for our clients.”
