In a press release, Gallagher said Malton has been focused in assisting clients in the mining sector, identifying and assessing their risks and designing “forward-looking and innovative” insurance and risk transfer solutions.
During his career, Malton has worked in both South Africa and Australia with a broad spectrum of clients from junior exploration companies through to large multinationals.
His experience includes supporting mine owners and contractors, businesses owning or operating hard or soft rock, surface or underground operations, and all stages throughout the life cycle of mining operations, from exploration and operations through to mine rehabilitation and closure.
