CUA offers disaster relief to bushfire-impacted customers

CUA is offering a disaster relief package for residents in Victoria who are affected by the bushfires.

Bushfire-impacted members are urged to call CUA on 133 282 or speak with their local branch manager to discuss the options available to meet their financial needs.

CUA’s disaster relief package includes:

• An opportunity to suspend home and personal loan repayments for up to three months;
• Waiver of late fees for home and personal loan repayments;
• Waiver of the personal loan establishment fee;
• Waiver of term deposit break costs;
• Repayment relief and personalised solutions for credit cards are available on a case-by-case basis and no fees for replacement cards; and
• Payment of health insurance premiums suspended for 3 months for existing CUA Health customers, with no interruption to health cover, and priority processing/payment of claims.

Another way for members to contact CUA is through its new IM CUA messaging app. CUA can also help members with any of their banking or insurance products, including questions about their existing Allianz policies.
