Specialist insurance firm Clyde & Co has announced a new addition to its Australian aviation and marine team.
Ankush Chauhan joins Clyde & Co's Melbourne office as senior associate, bringing to his new role 10 years of experience across the insurance and transport sectors, specialising in aviation and marine law and commercial litigation.
Chauhan was most recently senior associate at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, where he worked for the past four years. Prior to that, he was with Norton Rose Fulbright, Hall & Wilcox, Clark Toop & Taylor Lawyers, and the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Chauhan's appointment comes after other recent additions to the firm's aviation and marine team, with special counsels Barry Cameron and Paul Hopwood joining the global firm's Perth office earlier this year.
Maurice Thompson, partner and national group head of maritime, aviation, commodities, and oil and gas, said Chauhan's “expertise and commercial mindset will be of benefit to our clients."
