Club Marine, Australia's largest pleasure and commercial leisure craft underwriting agency, has announced the grand prize winner of its Boatloads of Fun competition.
The
Allianz Australia-owned underwriter has awarded the grand prize – including a fully equipped, Mercury-powered Northbank 600C boat on a Mackay trailer, and an Isuzu D-MAX LS-T utility, valued jointly at more than $155,000 – to Craig Butler, a Club Marine member and Club Marine Magazine subscriber.
“I can’t believe it! Thanks so much to Club Marine,” Butler said. “It couldn’t have come at a better time. A real life-changer!”
“Congratulations to Craig and his family,” said Club Marine CEO
Simon McLean. “It’s great to be able to present our grand prize to such a great boating family.”
Club Marine said the event was a great way to end 2017 and to start the new year.
“Throughout 2017, we’ve given away three glamorous cruises with Australia’s adventure cruise specialists, True North Adventure Cruises,” the underwriter said in a statement. “Rigid inflatable boat specialist BRIG spiced things up with two of its Falcon F360H tenders, which have no doubt added a new dimension to two Club Marine members’ boating lifestyles. And from fishing tackle specialists Shimano, we’ve handed over a massive $30,000 worth of high-quality gear to warm the heart of any discerning fisho.”
