Chubb has extended its multi-year partnership with the Australian Open.

In its announcement, Tennis Australia – the governing body for tennis in the country that organises national and international tournaments, including the Australian Open – said the partnership between Chubb and the Australian Open had been extended for a further three years, up to and including 2025, effective immediately.

Chubb has been the official insurance partner of the Australian Open since 2020.

“The Australian Open provides a significant platform to amplify Chubb as the world’s leading property and casualty insurer and reinforce our reputation for premium insurance solutions and claims handling across the Asia-Pacific,” said Paul McNamee, regional president of Asia-Pacific at Chubb.

“The extension of our partnership with Tennis Australia represents our commitment to elevating the customer experience for our brokers, clients, and business partners while building consumer awareness of our brand and supporting our growth ambitions for this fast-growing region. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Tennis Australia.”

The partnership will be brought to life at the Australian Open 2023 with exclusive broker and client hospitality, on-court signage, an on-ground consumer activation, and sponsorship of the Australian Open’s digital daily highlights.

Cedric Cornelis, chief commercial officer of Tennis Australia, commented: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Chubb, a global leader in insurance. Chubb has been a wonderful sponsor of the Australian Open since 2020, and we look forward to continuing our strong relationship. The company’s international growth and profile align perfectly with the Australian Open, being one of the world’s biggest sporting events.”

Australian Open 2023 will take place at Melbourne Park from January 16 to 29, 2023. It is supported by major partner Kia, in association with Emirates, Luzhou Laojiao, and Rolex.
