Chubb has announced the appointment of a new environmental risk underwriter for Australia,
Ian Mullins has been appointed to the role and will replace Oliver McCauley, who was appointed environmental risk underwriter-Asia of Chubb Hong Kong.
An experienced environmental consultant, Mullins will be responsible for assisting brokers and clients in determining appropriate insurance solutions for their environmental risks.
John French, Country President for Chubb in Australia and New Zealand, said: “We are excited to have such an experienced Environmental Consultant join the team. With exposure to a wide variety of environmental initiatives, from Government and infrastructure to urban development and the mining sector, Ian’s appointment will only enhance our capabilities in the growing and important portfolio.”
Mullins has handled a diverse range of environmental planning and impact assessment projects throughout his career. He graduated from the University of Western Australia with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management.
