CHU has reported of its consistent success in delivering speedy claims service to clients in need, processing simple claims in as little as two hours.
The strata insurer said it is crucial that claims are paid as quickly and smoothly as possible. With this in mind, the company has set to lodging and processing 95% of simple claims within the first two hours, and finalising 95% of simple claims in a day – both targets CHU has consistently outperformed.
CHU said the fast-track claims service was achieved thanks to last year's launch of CHU's Strata Service Centre (SSC), which triages claims when they are lodged.
“Simple claims can be processed immediately,” it said. “More complex claims are referred local CHU claims consultants. However, these claims are also rapidly dealt with thanks to CHU unique full customer service and claims team in every state, able to offer local expertise and speed up the process. CHU also has the largest national support team in strata insurance.”
To facilitate the fast processing of claims, the strata insurer said all relevant documents should first be lodged, including the cost of damage, rectification invoice (if applicable) for maintenance-related claims, banking details, and GST details.
