Strata insurance specialist CHU has named Renee Betton as its new NSW/ACT state manager following the recent appointment of former state manager Kimberley Jonsson as the new CEO.
Betton has been with CHU for nine years in various underwriting and customer service roles, most recently as an underwriting manager for NSW/ACT for over two years – leading a team of underwriters to provide insurance solutions to the strata market. In her new role, she will be responsible for all NSW and ACT business and customers.
Commenting on the key appointment, Jonsson said: “Renee has extensive strata insurance experience and knowledge in what is a complicated part of the insurance industry. She has built strong relationships with CHU's key clients, and the transition will be seamless. Renee's appointment demonstrates the depth of CHU's talent, which enables it to focus on promotion from within.”
Betton commented: “I feel grateful for the experience I've gained at CHU and am very excited to lead our branch.”
